1992

MACRO-FRIO SA company starts its activity as a company limited by shares.

2004

Company infrastructure renovation and expansion.

2009

Classified a leading SME by the IAPMEI.

2010

Building of a meat and fish processing factory. This unit was equipped with the best equipment’s of the highest technology in the processing and production of food products. The company has a system of wastewater treatment plant (WWTP) and it implemented the HACCP system in order to comply with the standards of hygiene and food safety.

2012

Certification NP EN ISO 9001:2008 by the SGS for the following activities:

  •     Processing and packing of Fish and Frozen Meat
  •     Preparation, Soaking and Freezing Green Salt Cod
  •     Packing Salt Cod
  •     Cutting, Preparations Manufacturing and Freezing Fresh Meat
  •     Storage, marketing and distribution Food Dry, Refrigerated and Frozen

2014

Increased plant in fish industry and developing new area for precooked.

2015

Recertification NP EN ISO 9001: 2008 and conception of NP ISO 22000: 2005 by SGS with the context:

2015

Award of Excellence SME classification in 2014 by IAPMEI.

2016

Completion of the intervention of the increase of the plant and the start of new production activities.

2020

Implementation of solar panels for greater energy efficiency and sustainability of the company.
